I found a bargain!

Recently I was shopping online and found the cutest metallic dress from BCBGeneration. Its on sale now for $30 and last I checked they had 40% off your entire purchase! I love this brand because its far cheaper than BCBGMaxAzria and the clothes are still high quality and well made. Happy shopping!!

Style ideas taken from the streets of Milan and London

I absolutely love the European style sensibility. The unique, sexy, slouchy, effortless, bold way they wear clothes is enviable, and I guess that's why I've always gravitated towards European retailers such as Zara and Topshop. Their clothes embody the European sense of style which straddles the line between minimalist and flashy. I love the little details like structured bags, cat eyed glasses, and the mixing of high and low, like mom jeans with a stunning trench coat.  I also love that European girls don't give a damn! They aren't afraid to wear their hair messy, as long as there is a red lip and bowler hat involved. They know how to pick a statement piece and build around it. No doubt European street style is sexy, bold, unapologetic and most importantly original. The biggest thing I've learned from seeing the women walking the streets of London and Milan: Be Yourself!

Outfit idea for transitioning from winter into spring

So, I have been noticing more and more celebrities wearing the cropped pants with long coat look. I know, I know, old trend right?? Well, I like the way Solange Knowles and Monica (seen in the first two pictures below) upped the anty by wearing metallic heels with their black coats and fitted cropped jeans. I also love that this look can  be dressed up or down, and it can  be made work appropriate if you swap the jeans for cropped trousers. The cropped pants plus coat look will take you from winter into spring, because its easy to remove the coat if the weather becomes warmer throughout the day. Will you be wearing this look??

Sexy fit and flare dress worn by Solange Knowles

Normally, I am a girl who likes to rock sexy, form fitting clothes for nights out, but since I have hit my 30's I like to wear things that are a bit more refined. I spotted this picture of Solange Knowles at one of the fashion week parties wearing this beautiful $750 dress by Carven,  Normally shiny green fabric would be a no for me, but Solange wears it well, off setting it with pink shoes. I love the off the shoulder look, it shows just enough skin to be sexy without being over the top. If you are like me and like to stick with neutral colored dresses, you will love the version of this dress that I found on asos.com for only $27!! I will definitely try a fit and flare dress for my next girls night out.

Diane Von Furstenberg gold NY Fashion Week cocktail dresses are to die for!

Diane Von Furstenberg displayed a gorgeous RTW collection at NY fashion week and it lived up to its title "Bohenmian Rhapsody". I fell in love with the unexpected prints of rosebuds, stars, clouds, wings, and the gold dresses that came out at the end were definitely my style! DVF definitely stayed true to her own style and gave us bold prints, color, and of course that famous wrap dress. Here are some of the most noteworthy pieces and if you love the little gold wrap dresses keep reading for how you can score a similar one for $78!!

A new look at Coach for Fashion Week

Coach is now under new creative direction, and it shows! Lately, Coach has been pretty boring to me and more like something my mom would wear rather than something I would covet. At NY Fashion week though, Coach showed a beautiful new RTW collection for Fall 2014 featuring houndstooth, wedge boots, fringed bags and fierce coats. I love the label's new edginess! Here are just a few of the amazing looks. Thoughts??
